The qualification rules for the UKBGF Tour Winners Invitational are listed below.
Masters Division: 16 players
The winners from the UKBGF Masters or Open Tour events +
The highest 'n' finishers from the final tour standings (players who have not won an individual event)
Intermediate Division: 16 players
The winner from each of the UKBGF Intermediate Tour Events +
The highest 'n' finishers from the final tour standings (players who have not reached final of an individual event)
Qualifiers for both divisions will be invited to attend soon after result and have 4 weeks from date of win to confirm attendance otherwise place will be offered to next qualifier.
Players who qualify from the final tour event and all final standings qualifiers will need to confirm by 6th Jan 2025.
Please note: Confirmation of attendance is by reply to invitation email only and must be done by the deadline in the email otherwise the place WILL be offered to pool of places awarded on the basis of final Tour standings.
if event winner is not a UKBGF member, or has already qualified for a TWI place – i.e. it does not transfer to the next highest finisher, but transfers to the pool of places awarded on the basis of the final tour standings.
- If a Tour winner cannot attend/don't qualify* then the place will go to the next highest player in the final tour standings
- If a player wins multiple tour events then extra places go to next highest in final tour standings
- Tournament flights MUST have a minimum of 24 players (intermediate) and 48 players (Masters) attending to qualify for a TWI place otherwise extra place will be awarded to next highest in final tour standings
